MACO PEOPLE SUMMER GAMES ISSUE
In March I was contacted by Maco People Magazine to shoot a couple personalities for their Summer Games 2012 issue. The issue featured, amongst others, former Minister of Education and Olympic medal winner – Wendell Mottley, artist Chris Ofili who was commissioned to create an official poster for the 2012 Olympics, and Trinidad & Tobago swimming medalist and record holder - George Bovell. Yeah, it was THAT issue with the controversial George Bovell article. Yeah, that one. So now that we’ve got that out of the way let’s continue with the rest of the afternoon’s proceedings.
The first set of photos was for an article written by Giselle Laronde-West profiling a physical rehabilitation specialist named Dr. Kerry Dollaway. It was shot at his clinic which happens to be on the 5th floor of the Carlton Savannah Hotel.

The second shoot was at the home of Dr. Carol James, a zoologist, well-known nature enthusiast and proud mother of T&T’s 800m Olympic hopeful, Jamaal James. The article, authored by Carolyn Lee gave insight to her experiences raising the young, talented athlete.

The issue also featured ads from a BPTT / Olympics campaign which I also shot for AGO, however I guess I will blog on that in a later post when all the work is done and published.
