I found some of the selects to be a little fluffy and began to lose the thread of it somewhere in the middle though.
I fear that you may have left out some valuable narrative images in favour of more striking photos, a common mistake in building photo essays. 
You need to think of it as a symphony, with rising and falling passages rather than a consecutive series of cymbal crashes.
Oh, and you need more captions on the images to let viewers know what they are looking at.</description>
